AnMoon was founded on a simple premise: software should respect the user. In an era of "everything apps" and notification-driven design, we believe there is a profound need for tools that do one thing exceptionally well. Whether it is an educational game for a child or a payroll tool for a construction foreman, our goal is to reduce the cognitive load on the user, not increase it.

Led by Abdellah Boutmouzzar and based in the vibrant city of Marrakech, AnMoon operates as a "boutique" software studio. This independence allows us to prioritize long-term utility over short-term growth hacks. We don't build to capture your attention; we build to help you complete a task and get back to your life.

We avoid "feature creep" at all costs. Every button, menu, and setting in an AnMoon product must earn its place. If a feature doesn't directly contribute to the core job the app was hired to do, it doesn't make the cut. This results in software that is lightweight, fast, and remarkably easy to learn.

Language is the ultimate bridge. Our educational catalog is built around English, French, Arabic, and Tamazight (using the Tifinagh script). We are particularly proud of our work in Tamazight, a language often overlooked by major software publishers. By providing high-quality digital resources for these languages, we help preserve cultural heritage and support early learning in multilingual households.

We believe your data is your own. Whenever possible, AnMoon tools are built to run entirely on your device. Whether it is OCR processing in pdf2x or attendance logs in StaffLedger, we prioritize browser-based and local-device processing. AnMoon is based in Marrakech, Morocco. This unique vantage point at the crossroads of African, Arab, and European cultures informs our multilingual approach to software.

Why are your apps offline-first?

We know that "the real world" doesn't always have 5G. Many of our users are documenting work in basements, rural fields, or construction sites. By building offline-first, we ensure our software is reliable in the conditions where it is needed most.
